Scenarios for connecting to Türkiye from abroad
1. Watching Turkish series
BluTV, Exxen, GAİN, TabiiGo, TRT — all geo-restricted. When you access them from an IP outside Türkiye, the content catalog shrinks or is blocked entirely. A VPN with a Türkiye server removes that block.
2. Turkish banking
Banks like Akbank, İş Bankası, Garanti BBVA and Ziraat treat foreign IPs as a risk. Some transactions (transfers, high-value payments) may face extra verification or outright blocking. A Türkiye IP reduces that friction.
Important: Some banks detect VPNs (especially mobile banking apps). In that case you may need to turn off the VPN and switch to mobile data.
